Rally rundown

Everyone starts at the rally point for registration. During registration you get to pick which charity you want play for.If you win your charity wins the pot of rally money. The donation is made in the winning teams name.

At the start the game site will become active and teams will login and get their first checkpoint clue. Every team will visit each check point but not in the same order. (ie. Your teams first check point could be another teams 5th). So following the crowd will get you nowhere.

At each check point you will have to answer a “Proof” question that only someone standing in that check point could answer. Then your team will be presented either a “Points” question or a “Points” challenge. The use of the Internet is encouraged so the questions will be hard and the challenges will be fun. Once you submit your answers you will get the clue to the next check point. This continues until teams complete the course or time runs out. Points are then reviewed and a winner is declared.

Benefits of this format. I think :-)

Finishing first does not give you any advantage. In fact the team who finishes last has the same chance at winning for their charity as the first. So no need to drive fast.

We are leveraging the web and free resources to create a course that can be monitored by one person. So need for volunteers is limited and more people can participate.

Participants will get to know a few more places in Jacksonville, FL where WiFi is free.

Businesses will benefit by having potential customers directed right to their door.

Most check points are not far from each other so driving is kept to a minimum.
